Migos rapper Offset was detained by police on Wednesday at The Grove, which is a well-known open-air shopping complex in Los Angeles.
According to several reports, Los Angeles police officers responded to a report of somebody with a gun in the shopping center’s multi-story parking structure.
The cops told TMZ that the individual who was believed to be in possession of a firearm fled the scene. In the video obtained by TSR, Offset, who is seen wearing a yellow pullover, can be seen being pushed against a wall and detained by an officer. As the officer handcuffs him, he demands to know why he is being detained.
Another member of Offset’s entourage was also detained, and there is no information currently as to whether cops detained Offset over the alleged weapon that somebody called in.
Offset is no stranger to crossing paths with law enforcement. Last May, he got into trouble after he was allegedly broke a “fans” phone while they attempted to film him in Walmart. The matter was later settled after the teen filed a lawsuit.
