2023 is the year of the dress – I’m calling it now. I’m slowly reaching for the dress section in my wardrobe more and more and if you’re wondering what that section consists of it’s the Baserange Shaw Wrap Dress in Cream* and the Baserange Shaw Wrap Dress in Black* – a dress I love so much that I have it in two colours. Well I’m here to issue a PSA that it now comes in a camel* too and isn’t it a beauty?! A wrap back, so a real forever piece in your wardrobe (and one I wore as a maternity piece too) – with a tie front that you can cinch in as much or as little as you want. I love the mid-weight fabric as it means you can get away with wearing it pretty much all year round. With a slouchy sleeve and a ribbed finish, I’d happily own this in every colour they bring out.

In terms of styling, I feel like this is always where I have personally struggled. In the summer it’s easy. I’ll pair a dress with a chunky sandal and go on my merry way, but in the cooler months I find it a little trickier. Although a Converse* is a truly ‘goes with everything’ option and a flat boot will definitely work (like these Porte & Paire Chelsea Boots*), I feel like it’s with a calf-length slightly pointed toe heeled boot is really what makes a midi-or-maxi length dress shine. These Vince Boots* are absolute perfection; they are comfortable, constructed of the most beautiful buttery leather and along with the Loewe Puzzle Shoulder Bag* they finish off the outfit just right.
