Last week, Katie Holmes, 41, had everyone talking after she was spotted with restaurateur Emilio Vitolo Jr., 33.
They have been photographed packing on the PDA more than once since the first sighting at Antique Garage in SoHo.

On Tuesday, Katie and Emilio were seen locking lips at his family’s restaurant Emilio’s Ballato in front of his dad, Emilio Vitolo Sr., who has owned the restaurant since the ’90s.
Before things heated up between Katie and Emilio, he was reportedly engaged to Rachel Emmons, the designer at Anna Rachel Studio.
DailyMail.com reports that Emilio ended their engagement via text after pictures emerged of him kissing Katie at Peasant.
A friend claimed, “Up to this press coming out, Rachel had no idea what was going on. He is a cheater, and this isn’t a ‘happy ending’ story.”
According to the friend, Rachel “devoted her life” to Emilio, who she shared a home with. The pal added, “They had concrete wedding plans in the works…now she is just left with bad press and forced to move home.”
Rachel and Emilio announced their engagement unofficially last February. Along with posting a pic of her engagement ring, she wrote on Instagram, “My number one. Future husband and love of my life.”
Rachel posted her last photo with Emilio less than two months ago.
Another source told The Sun UK, “Rachel and Emilio got together in February last year and were engaged after just a few months, it was a whirlwind romance but they were very much in love. They were planning their wedding before the pandemic but had been having issues recently … different work schedules, and COVID made it difficult.”
The insider claimed that Katie and Emilio reportedly met while working on a movie together. They said, “Katie and Emilio were working on an indie movie together about a month ago and Rachel knew that. He’s trying to get into acting, but nobody really knew who he was until this happened.”
“Rachel found out about their dates after friends sent her articles showing them together, she thinks it’s disrespectful for it to be so public,” the source added. “They were close while filming together but she never saw this coming.”
“Extra” has reached out to Emilio and Rachel, but haven’t heard back.
