Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith’s production company, Westbrook Inc, has announced that ten of its employees have tested positive for COVID-19.
Westbrook Inc. is responsible for several projects, including the recently announced Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, reboot as well as Jada’s Facebook Watch show, Red Table Talk. Westbrook Studios is currently shooting “King Richard,” centered on Richard Williams, the father of tennis professionals Venus and Serena Williams.
The company released a statement about the outbreak.
“We received 10 positive tests and the crew members quarantined and remain in quarantine. All 10 people were retested and have received negative results.
“We will continue to follow all official guidelines and safety protocols.”
Sources told Variety that Westbrook was using Rapid Reliable Testing when first conducting the initial tests and follow-up tests but also added that the company has stopped testing at the firm.
