In the newest DCOM Upside-Down Magic — based on the best-selling book series of the same name — Siena Agudong’s character Reina joins her best friend Nory (Izabela Rose) as they head off to their school of Magical Studies. Just like being sorted at Hogwarts, the girls get placed in their new classes; Reina’s power of fire secures her the top spot in the Flares class, while Nory’s wonky magical abilities land her in the not-so-desired class of Upside-Down Magic.
As we get ready for the new magical world to hit Disney Channel on July 31, we chatted with Siena about the last day of filming, what she got to take home from set, her best beauty tip, and more!
POPSUGAR: What was your last day on the set of Upside-Down Magic like?
It was very sad to have to say goodbye to the people you looked forward to seeing every day for three and a half months. We were all saying how crazy it was to be done already. There were a lot of heartfelt moments that day for sure.
PS: What’s the last thing you texted?
A picture of a Kauai Juice Co menu. I sent it to my mom because I was ordering her a juice!
PS: What’s the last thing you watched on Netflix?
The last thing I binged-watched on Netflix was Outer Banks.
PS: What’s the last photo on your camera roll?
A picture of me facing the Hanakapiai waterfall from yesterday! It was an 8-mile hike that my sister and I went on and absolutely loved!
PS: What’s the last thing you do before going to bed?
Oh my gosh, okay I am so particular about my bedtime routine. The last thing I do is put Aquaphor on my lips and stretch.

PS: What was the last gift you received?
The last gift I received was from my dad! It hasn’t come in yet, but he just bought my sister Sydney and I a hiking bag that is really durable and I am so grateful and excited, yay!
PS: What’s the last thing you took home from a set?
Reina Carvajal’s heart charm necklace, sweater, and plaid skirt. I was so happy to keep Reina by my heart with her signature jewelry from wardrobe! Thank you to our wardrobe team!
PS: What’s the last beauty secret you learned that you always do now?
I put Vaseline on my eyelashes to make them grow longer.
PS: What was the last song you sang in the shower?
The last song I sang in the shower was probably “Thursday” by Jess Glynn.
PS: What’s the last piece of advice you received that changed your life?
The last piece of advice that I received that changed my life was from my mom and she said, “Take it day by day.” It is so powerful in the way that it just slows everything down and shows that you don’t need to worry. Just work toward feeling better and reaching your goals daily and you will get there.
PS: What was your last workout?
Hanakapiai Falls, an 8-mile hike that my sister and I did yesterday to a waterfall.

PS: What’s the last book you read?
We Were Liars by E. Lockhart, one of the writers from the Upside-Down Magic book series. You better believe that I freaked out when I realized the connection! I was reading that book on set cluelessly!
PS: What’s the last song you listened to?
“Expectations” by Lauren Jauregui.
PS: What’s the last DCOM you watched?
Camp Rock 2, which was immediately watched after seeing Camp Rock again, of course!
