Rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine has announced to his fans that he will be delaying his video release by one week — amid rumors that Nicki Minaj was driven to his secret location to shoot a video with him.
Single “Trollz” was supposed to be released Friday, May 29th, but will now be released June 5th instead.
The single comes just weeks after the release of single “GOOBA” — his first offering since being released from jail. The single reached #3 on the Billboard charts — but 6ix9ine accused Billboard of robbing him of the top spot.
“@Billboard caught cheating,” he wrote at the time. “You’re a lie and corrupt. You got caught cheating and the world will know.”
Billboard later responded, denying his allegations:
“The chart forecast referenced was not created nor provided by Billboard to the industry. Those with access to sales, streaming and radio data from various sources often create their own chart models and update them at their own frequency. Billboard does not distribute any Hot 100 ranking forecast to labels, management or artists,” the statement read in part.
