East Cleveland police shot and killed a suspect that they say was attempting to rape a woman, right in front of them. The entire incident was caught on camera by a passerby.

According to local reports, officers were called to the scene to investigate a “rape in progress” inside of a public housing project in East Cleveland.
When police arrived, they located the alleged rapist, and police say he confronted them with a gun.
The male approached the female victim with the gun pointed at her head, police said.
According to officers they told the man to drop the gun, but he didn’t. Officers then fired more than a dozen shots at the suspect, killing him on the scene.
The female victim was believed to have been shot and assaulted by the male rape suspect. Police rushed her to the hospital, where she is expected to make a full recovery physically.
