It’s a girl for Arie Luyendyk Jr., 37, and Lauren Burnham, 27.
The former “Bachelor” shared the happy news on Instagram Stories, announcing, “We have a healthy, BEAUTIFUL baby girl,” adding, “Mommy and baby are doing great, we are so incredibly happy.”
Along with sharing photos of their newborn, Arie raved about Lauren, writing, “I’m so proud of you @laureneburnham… You’re truly incredible and you did so good today.”

In another photo, their baby is seen sleeping, wearing a pink beanie. He wrote, “Mom is fast asleep and I can’t stop staring at her. She’s so perfect.”

Lauren also revealed that the name of their baby girl is Alessi Ren. On Thursday, she wrote on Instagram, “She is sweet, calm and @ariejr and I could not be more in love with her.”
According to Lauren, Alessi weighed in at 6 lbs. 13 oz. and measured 20 inches long.
Luyendyk posted photos and videos throughout Lauren’s labor. She seemed in good spirits for much of the process, even pushing her husband around in a wheelchair.
At one point, he reported that she received an epidural around 5 a.m. and was hoping to get a little sleep.
Before the baby’s arrival, they made guesses about the little one, with Lauren predicting she would weigh 6 lbs. 18 oz. (7 lbs. 2 oz.) and have brown hair and blue eyes.
Arie guessed 7 lbs. with dark hair that would later turn blonde. He speculated his daughter would have his mom’s looks, but his height.
The couple met on Season 22 of “The Bachelor” last year, and wed in January 2019.
