Tekashi 6ix9ine faced humiliation after charity No Kid Hungry rejected his donation of $200,000.
“We are grateful for Mr. Hernandez’s generous offer to donate to No Kid Hungry, but we have informed his representatives that we have declined this donation,” the organization said in a statement to Complex.
“As a child-focused campaign, it is our policy to decline funding from donors whose activities do not align with our mission and values.”
No Kid Hungry provides millions of children with the food they need and relies on the financial support of companies, restaurants, charitable foundations and ordinary Americans.
The rapper took to Instagram to fume about the recent rebuff:
“@nokidhungry rather take food out the mouth of these innocent children i never seen something so cruel,” he wrote in a since-deleted post.
Tekashi has been flaunting his money since his record-breaking live stream on Friday, May 8th — but it seems that money isn’t everything. Reputation matter too
