A Wells Fargo bank employee from Charlotte named Arlando Henderson, 29, was arrested in San Diego last week on 34 counts of financial institution fraud, theft, embezzlement and misappropriation, making false entries and money laundering.
Authorities say that Arlando stole $88,000 from his employer, then flashed the bank’s money – on Instagram.
The federal indictment alleges that while working at a Wells Fargo branch in Charlotte, Arlando stole cash from deposits made by bank customers from the vault – on at least 18 occasions.
Then, after stealing the money – he went on Instagram to stunt with his new cash. The charging documents say Arlando chronicled his newfound riches regularly on social media.
A check of his Facebook page shows a veritable photo album of Henderson — nickname “AceeyFoez” — living the high life, frequently posing with stacks of cash in his hands or laid out on the floor around him.
If convicted on all charges, Arlando faces a maximum penalty of 40 years in prison and more than $1,000,000 in fines.
