A lot of you have reached out to say that you loved this bag review, so I am back again, this time reviewing my Savette Symmetry Pochette Top-Handle Bag. I bought this bag about six months ago and ever since I have felt that the reach of the brand continues to explode. My bag – as well as this style from the collection – seem to be the most popular, and sadly now nearly impossible to find. These bags are sleek, incredibly well made, and surprisingly spacious. With clean lines and minimal detailing these bags fit perfectly into the current ‘quiet luxury’ trend.
While there are several different materials avaiable in the Savette Symmetry Pochette Top-Handle Bag, such as suede here, mine is the small grain pebbled leather. I love this material as it feels luxurious while also being extremely durable. The bag is lined with leather, which I find to be a super luxe detail at the $1,190 price point. The turnlock is a beautiful piece of hardware that is easy to use and has held up extremely well over time.
The bag is 4.7” X 8.7” X 2.8” and is surprisingly spacious. You can fit a continental wallet, iphone of any size, lipstick, and keys all quite easily. There is an interior card holder pocket as well on the back wall of the bag. The only visible branding is a gold foil stamp on the exterior of the bag, but under the front flap so it is hidden until the bag is open.
The bag has a nice top handle with a tight drop. The top handle also has the ability to lay flat. While I don’t typically wear cross body bags (I prefer a top handle or shoulder bag) it is important to note this bag does not come with any other straps. If you are love this style, but are partial to having a strap, check out this style!
Another reason I love this bag is that it can so easily be dressed up for down. I have worn it with sneakers and a casual oversized sweater here. Last week I dressed it up a bit for a dinner with friends, electing to pair it with a chic coat and fun heels here. I also love how well the bag goes with deep, rich hues as seen here. That being said, I also plan on wearing it all summer back to the brighter pops in my closet.
Right now this particular model of the Savette bag is very hard to find. I bought mine here, but the bag is also available here, here, and here. The brand is carried by so many of my favorite retailers such as Net-A-Porter, Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus, and Luisviaroma. Below I’ve rounded up a few of my favorites that in stock right now to shop!
I hope this mini review was helpful! Overall, I love my Savette bag and will be purchasing again from the brand. Savette has a strong, but niche, following at the moment. With their beautiful designs, quality craftsmanship, and strong price point in the market (sitting well below logo luxury labels), I could easily see their popularity expanding more broadly.
