Diddy and Yung Miami Break Up

Diddy and Yung Miami are no longer together. After much speculation about the pair’s relationship, the 29-year-old City Girls rapper confirmed the split to The Cut in an interview published on April 19. “We’re still friends! We’re still good friends! But we’re single. That’s not my man,” Yung Miami told the publication. “We had our own situation, I’m not gonna put a title on it. We were f*cking with each other hard. We were together every day at one point. He supported me, I supported him. I’ll let the internet call it whatever they want to call it.” A rep for Diddy did not respond to POPSUGAR’s request for comment on Yung Miami’s remarks.

Diddy and Yung Miami were first linked in 2021, though it wasn’t until a year later that they confirmed they were dating. “We date,” the 53-year-old mogul said of their relationship when he appeared on Yung Miami’s “Caresha Please” podcast, per People. “We’re dating. We go on dates. We’re friends. We go to exotic locations. We have great times.”

Yung Miami also told XXL Mag in September 2022 that she and Diddy were “dating” but “single.” “People don’t know what dating means. He’s single, I’m single, but we’re dating. That’s what I mean when I say we go together. When we’re together, we’re together. We’re having the time of our lives, but we’re still single,” she explained.

She continued, “He see other people outside of me and I see people outside of him. I’m young. I’m dating. I’m, you know, having fun. I’m doing me. He’s doing the same thing. I can’t speak for exactly what he doing or who he seeing, but we single and we dating. But we are dating each other, but we single. I think it just went over people’s heads, you know? People just like to take whatever they wanna take from.”

In December 2022, Diddy announced the arrival of his seventh child, a daughter named Love, whom he welcomed with Dana Tran. At the time, Yung Miami was quick to shut down rumors about her and Diddy’s romance. “There are people who think that I’m like a side chick and he can just do whatever he want, and I’m just over here head over heels. No, it goes both ways. Ain’t nothing one-sided over here,” she told Black Enterprise.

Of why she decided to go public with her relationship with Diddy, Yung Miami told The Cut, “I felt like, it is what it is. Eventually, people was gonna find out because he is who he is, I am who I am. We was just like, if we’re going to put it out there, we’re going to be the ones that talk. I don’t like anyone talking for me.”
