While the actress may be garnering attention in light of the “Strangers Things” season four release on May 27, she is also generating buzz for her most recent red carpet appearance and Instagram posts with Jake Bongiovi. Who Is Jake Bongiovi?
If you recognize Bongiovi’s last name, it’s because he is the son of rock star Jon Bon Jovi and Dorothea Hurley. Along with his famous father, Bongiovi also has three siblings, Romeo, Jesse, and Stephanie. At The Pennington School in New Jersey, he starred on the football team and even organized a student walkout in 2018 to raise awareness about gun violence following the Stoneman Douglas Shooting in Florida, per NJ.com.
The 20-year-old is a New York native and was accepted into Syracuse University in the fall of 2020. Despite coming from a family filled with music, Bongiovi doesn’t want to follow in his father’s footsteps. In the Spring/Summer 2022 issue of Man About Town, he talked about a career in music, telling the publication, “I think I’ll leave that to my dad! There’s really no following the act there. There was always music playing in the house growing up, all different types of genres from all different types of worlds. But what spoke to me were the people on the screen, not the voices through the speakers.” Instead of music, Bongiovi is pursuing acting and living in London, as reported by The Daily Mail.
When Did Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi Start Dating?
Brown and Bongiovi started appearing on each other’s Instagram in 2021, with Bongiovi first posting a picture of the two together in July of that year. It is unclear if the two were dating at that time, but by November 2021, Newsweek confirmed that they were dating when Brown shared a blurred picture of her embracing Bongiovi on the London Eye on Nov. 1, 2021. Since then, the pair have taken their relationship to the red carpet, appearing together at the BAFTAs in March 2022 and the season four premiere of “Stranger Things” in May 2022.
Outside of their formal outings, Brown and Bongiovi show love to each other on social media. On May 7, the actress wished Bongiovi a happy birthday on Instagram, writing, “happy birthday baby, can’t wait to fly to the moon and back with you!
