Britney Spears and Sam Asghari are getting married! The longtime couple, who first met on the set of Spears’s 2016 “Slumber Party” video, got engaged in September 2021, and they’ve slowly been sharing tidbits about their upcoming wedding.
This will be Asghari’s first marriage and Spears’s third marriage, as she was previously married to Jason Allen Alexander in 2004 and Kevin Federline from 2004 to 2007. Spears and Federline have two kids together, 16-year-old Sean Preston and 15-year-old Jayden James Federline.
To make matters even more exciting, Asghari and Spears are expecting their first child together. On April 11, the singer announced the news on Instagram. “So I got a pregnancy test . . . and uhhhhh well . . . I am having a baby,” she wrote alongside a photo of flowers.

Asghari proposed to Spears with a custom diamond ring featuring a 4-carat round brilliant stone in a platinum cathedral setting. Designed by Roman Malayev of Forever Diamonds NY, the ring also includes Asghari’s “Lioness” nickname for Spears engraved on the inside of the band.

Back in November, Spears announced that Donatella Versace would be designing her wedding dress. Though she didn’t reveal anything else, she did give fans a peek at her veil in an Instagram photo on May 8.
Britney Spears and Sam Asghari’s Wedding Date
Asghari previously revealed on his Instagram Stories that he and Spears have set a wedding date, but he didn’t reveal what it was. “Our lives has [sic] been a real fairytale. Happy Mother’s Day to you my soon to be queen,” he wrote. “Also the big day has been set! But nobody will know until the day after.”
