Billie Lourd and Austen Rydell are officially a married couple! People reports that the pair tied the knot on March 12 in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, where they also celebrated their wedding all weekend long. A source told the outlet that Lourd’s father, Bryan Lourd, paid for a block of rooms for all the wedding guests to spend the weekend celebrating the happy couple.
Lourd and Rydell got engaged in June 2020. “She said YES!! (Actually she said “Duhhh”) But I guess that’s even better than yes?!” Rydell wrote on Instagram at the time of the exciting news. In September 2020, the couple welcomed their son, Kingston Fisher. His middle name is a tribute to Lourd’s late mother, Carrie Fisher, who suddenly passed away in December 2016.
The couple previously dated when they were younger and reconnected in 2017. On Feb. 21, Lourd posted several photos via Instagram from what appeared to be her bachelorette party. In the pictures, she wore a white outfit with feather fringe, heart-shaped sunglasses, and a pair of bridal Minnie Mouse ears. She hashtagged the gallery, “#BigBridalEnergy.”
