While I live for a dramatic moment, my everyday outfits for grocery store runs aren’t always that extra (although sometimes they are lol). Today I am highlighting an array of easy, breezy pieces that I have been reaching for again and again. Everything from my favorite pair of denim to the bag I don’t feel bag banging up just a bit. MY EVERYDAY STRIPE TOP // This long sleeve linen blend striped polo is a closet MVP for me. I love the generous fit through the body and drop shoulder in combination with a slim sleeve. And, being down in Florida, It is the perfect weight! It is available in a range of colors and is currently on sale in select shades here.
STRAIGHT VINTAGE DENIM // These jeans have been my favorite find of 2021. Sadly, the wash I have is almost out of stock (but on sale), and I actually just purchased this darker wash that I can’t wait to wear. I love the mid rise fit, cropped leg, and ease of the body, particularly through the thighs. Typically I am a cropped kick flare girl (which I still love) but these are number one for me right now.
A SIMPLE HOOP // I have a few different ‘everyday’ earrings in my rotation, but these are by far the best value of the bunch. They come in both gold and silver and add a nice little touch whether you are in jeans and a tee, a cute sundress and sneakers, or a cozy turtleneck and your favorite OTK boots.
QUILTED CUTIE // As you saw last month here, I picked up this quilted wrap coat and have barely gone a day without wearing it. This coat, alongside with my quilted poncho (pictured above but sadly sold out), have been my ‘toss on and go’ coats on cooler mornings and evenings. They are both super simple to layer if you are somewhere with a bit cooler temperature than the southeast. If you are looking for an alternative at a sharper price point look no further than this coat – two colors available and under $40!
BANG AROUND BAG // This tote is the bag I grab when I know I am going to be throwing my purse in a shopping cart, setting it on the ground, or possibly ending up in the rain! So, pretty much anytime I don’t want to worry about a bag that is too precious getting banged up! I also picked up this travel version – and while I haven’t been traveling too much this year – I can’t wait to use it in the future. The bag fit perfectly and securely over my carry on, has generous pockets throughout, and has a zip top and cross body strap!
DOG WALKING SHOES // Okay these will not be suitable for cooler temps, but these are the sandals I grab to walk Penny. They are sturdy, easily washable, comfortable, but also look adorable back to easy jeans or a sundress. Plus they come in SO.MANY.FUN.COLORS. P.S. they look equally as cute with straight denim or a sundress while running errands around town!
