Maralee Nichols, the woman who allegedly just gave birth to Tristan Thompson’s son, issued a lengthy statement defending her character after the NBA Star claimed in court that she has herpes.
According to legal documents filed by Tristan and initially published by The Daily Mail, Nichols had “medical reasons” for having induced labor earlier this month. And Tristan’s legal team claims – according to the Daily Mail – that it was due to her having the highly contagious sexually transmitted disease.

SHOCKING TRISTAN THOMPSON CLAIMS
“Since opening up our private files to the media, I have been contacted by a source confirming that I should be checked because Petitioner [Maralee] has been diagnosed with herpes,” Tristan’s documents reportedly state. “Therefore, it would make sense that Petitioner had to have a designated delivery date.”
Pregnant women are typically tested for an active herpes infection, and if found, are recommended to have c-sections. But there are dozens of other medical conditions, including diabetes or high blood pressure, where doctors recommend the mother have a c-section delivery.
The documents continue: “Petitioner told me that she had been involved with other athletes and understood the limitations of our relationship; to-wit, that we might see each other on a sporadic basis for consensual casual sex only.”
Tristan’s allegations against Maralee were not based on fact, since he had no access to her medical records. The Daily Mail has since removed the allegations from their website. It’s not clear why they did so. But Tristan’s baby mama is BLASTING the allegations, calling them completely false.
Maralee denied his allegations in a statement:
“Tristan told me he was not having a sexual relationship with anyone else; it was not casual sex nor did we have any arrangement. Tristan and I communicated daily and talked on the phone. We would see each other several times a month,” she said.
