Emily in Paris stars Lily Collins and Ashley Park are certainly no strangers to France and French culture. The two have spent considerable time filming in the incredible country, so when we had the chance to sit down with them, we thought it would be fun to put their knowledge of “French” items to the test.
From french bread to french berets to french braids to french doors — and of course the french kiss — we asked them to try to identify whether these things had their origins in France (and were created by the French), or if they were simply inspired by an aspect of French culture.
Lily and Ashley were certainly game, and let us in on everything from the lack of french toast in their lives in France to Ashley’s incredibly accurate french horn impression. Did they hold a grudge against us for putting them through this gauntlet?
We’ll take that as a no! Be sure to check out Emily in Paris season two when it drops on Netflix on Dec. 22!
