Avril Lavigne is sending us back to the early ’00s with her TikTok debut. On Monday, the “Flames” singer posted her first video on the app, and it’s a nod to her “Sk8er Boi” roots. Decked out in her iconic tie and tank, Avril lip-synched to the pop-punk hit that helped kick off her career with a cameo from a legendary pro skater: Tony Hawk. This is the duo we never knew we needed!
Although it’s been nearly 20 years since Avril’s single dropped, it’s easy to slip right back into rocker mode when you hear it today.
