Why You Shouldn’t Snooze on Caffeinated Skincare

The caffeine addicts amongst us will have you know starting the day with a cup of coffee is a ritual to jolt both the mind and body awake. Most of us are well-versed with what caffeine can do for the body. But lesser known are the benefits caffeine has on the skin.

Much like the effect that a shot of espresso delivers to the senses, a caffeinated skincare regime does as much to bring the skin back to life. Particularly effective in improving blood circulation, skincare infused with caffeine work wonders depuffing the effects of that sodium-laced cup of instant noodles you had the night prior or one too many nights burning the midnight oil.

Also known to be a fat burner (a cup of coffee on an empty stomach is said to aid weight loss, surely you’ve heard this one before), caffeine does the same when applied on the surface of the skin.
