BEAUTIFUL THINGS HAPPEN WHEN LEATHER MEETS MONOCHROME – Patricia Bright

*SPONSORED POST*

t’s the time of year when it feels like a lot of change happens, back to school or work, the weather, trends…And I for one am excited about where fashion is heading for the upcoming season.

Pleather, leather, vinyl, high shine,  it’s all happening and all in an array of sexy monochrome shades – heaven!

With all the excitement though, comes the reality that it gets a tad hot under all that shine and this where my number 1 hero fashion accessory Sure Invisible Black + White’ comes to the rescue. An absolute God-send for those like me who are on-the- go and need to maintain maximum fabulousness at all times, heat or otherwise. Unashamedly I wear a lot of black and white and this deodorant makes so much sense for keeping blacks black and whites white.

Hands down my absolute favourite key piece for the season are these Missguided trousers/leggings which I’ve paired with a classic white shirt. Definitely an eye turner, but for all the right reasons, I channel my inner boss lady when strutting my stuff down the high road in this number! If you’re going to try it, be prepared to catch some looks (so sunglasses at the ready if you need) and for all the faux leather virgins, start with a black bottom item (skirt or trouser), it will ease you into things.

For a more subtle nod to the trend I also like to wear my high shine ‘edgy pieces’ with softer, textured knits. This is a great way tone down the look and make it more ‘everyday wearable’ suitable for shopping excursions etc, not so high fashion.

For anyone feeling bold and inspired enough to give the trend a go here’s a quick reminder and high shine wearing checklist:

  • Black leather or leather detailed bottoms (check)
  • White top/knit jumper (check)
  • Sure Invisible Black + White’ (check)
  • Confidence (check)
  • Sunglasses (optional)
