2000s Vine star and comedian King Bach was one o the most popular social media comedians ever. But now, many on social media are calling for him to be cancelled.
In a new video, a journalist calls out the comedian – for using racial stereotypes in his skits. The commentator claimed that King Back used Black stereotypes as the basis of his skit comedy to entertain a predominantly White audience.
The commentator explained, “This dynamic in verse reminiscent of minstrelsy – a form of entertainment featuring songs, dances, and formulaic comedic routines based on stereotypical depiction of Black Americans.”
