A maximum security inmate at one of the most secure prisons in the entire world is going viral, after he leaked a s*xtape with himself and one of the female prison guards, MTO News has learned.
The prison guard has been suspended without pay, and the inmate is currently in solitary confinement over the incident, MTO News has learned.

The Department of Correctional Services in South Africa, where the incident occurred, has details.
“A video with flustering scenes of alleged sexual activity between an official and an inmate at the Ncome Correctional Centre, KZN, has left the Department of Correctional Services (DCS) appalled, embarrassed, and gutted…”
“Sexual activities between inmates and Correctional Officials are shameful incidents that can never be ascribed to what is expected of our officials… The official involved has been identified and she will be subjected to a disciplinary process with immediate effect. Disciplinary measures have also been instituted against the inmate.”

The video is highly problematic, for a number of reasons given the power imbalance between prison officials and inmates. The prison guard may need to answer serious questions about consent and agency.
Yesterday morning, #prisoner became the top trending topic on South Africa Twitter – by a country mile – as public outrage continues to swell. The dust is unlikely to settle on this matter for quite some time to come.
