Famous Dex Arrested On Weapons Charge

Famous Dex just can’t catch a break — and has been arrested in North Hollywood for carrying a concealed weapon, days after he says he was robbed at gunpoint.

According to TMZ, Dex was a passenger in a vehicle that was pulled over by LAPD cops for not having a rear license plate in North Hollywood. During the traffic stop, Dex attempted to walk away but the cops detained him.

They searched the vehicle and found that one of the passengers was on probation. They also found a loaded gun under Dex’s seat. Dex was arrested and booked at the LAPD Valley Jail in Van Nuys. Bail was set at $35,000.

Earlier this week, the rapper made headlines after he claimed that after borrowing a $50,000 watch from a friend, he was followed by unknown assailants. When he reached his car, he said that the men pulled guns on him and demanded the watch and the thousands of dollars he had in his possession.

Police are investigating the robbery,
