Regina King is keeping up with tradition! After Dan Levy left a sweet note for her in her dressing room when she hosted Saturday Night Live last week, the 50-year-old star passed on the lovely gesture to Regé-Jean Page during his hosting debut on Feb. 20. The 31-year-old Bridgerton actor shared a photo of said note on his Instagram Stories prior to taking the stage.
The sticky note read, “Regé-Jean, you got next and you are going to be amazing!!! I’m a big fan.” Regé-Jean captioned the snap, “Thank you @iamreginaking. The feeling is very mutual.” Aw!
Well, it’s fair to say that Regina was right. Not only did Regé-Jean totally nail all of his sketches, but he and the rest of the SNL cast had Olivia Rodrigo “shaking” with their hilarious “Drivers License” skit. So, how long do we have to wait until Regé-Jean can host SNL again?
