Late rapper and former Gangsta Disciples member FBG Duck released a diss track, “Dead Bitches” shortly before his death with dissed members of the rival gang, Black Disciples.
After Duck’s death, many thought the track was the reason he was targeted — but Swagg Dinero, the brother of rapper Swagg Dinero, the brother of Lil Jojo who was killed in 2012, says the song was not the reason for Duck’s killing.
“That be that outside looking in sh*t. I mean, it don’t matter whether that record was put out or not. We still hot. Both sides is hot. If you around, then you around, you know,” he told Say Cheese TV. “You in bounds and the field is a field, so if you in bounds, it can go down at any time. So with that record or without that record, we still was in this sh*t. It’s timing, man. I don’t know if it was his time, but I pray it wasn’t his time, but you know what I’m saying, I don’t know. But it wasn’t the record, f*ck the record.”
