Just last month, Danileigh faced backlash for releasing her single, “Yellow Bone,” which appeared to take a shot at DaBaby’s chocolate baby mama — but this weekend, she announced that she is now single.
She made her relationship status known on Instagram Story.
DaBaby also confirmed the split by posting a TikTok video of India Love doing the #MasterpieceChallenge. “Best re-enactment of this Tik Tok gets flown out for a date w/ Baby on Valentine’s Day,” he wrote.
DaBaby then added that he would be announcing the winner on Friday.
Social media turned on Danileigh after the controversy surround her single. She eventually issued an apology:
“I feel super misunderstood,” she said. “The song ‘Yellow Bone Is What He Want’, I think people twisted it into thinking that I’m trying to bash another woman, another skin tone. That was never my intention. I wasn’t brought up like that. I ain’t never looked at my skin as a privilege, I’ve never looked at me as I’m better than somebody because of my skin tone.”
