Casanova’s wife shared a video of the rapper doing the Jubebug challenge in jail to social media — but the jail caught wind of the video and have disciplined him.
According to ABC News, Westchester County Correction Commissioner Joseph Spano said correction officials revoked Casanova’s video visitation privileges because recording videos and taking pictures during a virtual visit is prohibited. They are also charging him for not wearing a mask.
“I’m happy to say we don’t have a lot of issues with video visits because inmates know it’s a privilege, not a right,” Spano said.
Casanova and 17 of his crew members are accused of belonging to the Untouchable Gorilla Stone Nation. The rapper pleaded not guilty to charges of conspiracy to commit racketeering, conspiracy to distribute controlled substances, and firearms possession.
Last week, a judge denied him bail, citing him as a danger to the community. Casanova will remain behind bars until his trial. He denies all of the charges against him.
