Actor Denzel Washington is trending this morning – and Black Atwitter appears to be ready to cancel the Oscar winning actor, MTO News has learned.
Denzel is no stranger to playing a police officer in his films. One of his most iconic cop roles was portraying Alonzo Harris in the cult classic ‘Training Day’. In a recent interview with Yahoo! Entertainment, Denzel Washington took the time to address the criticism the police system in America has been receiving from the public lately. He also seemingly supported police officers. He said,

“I have the utmost respect for what they do, for what our soldiers do, [people] that sacrifice their lives. I just don’t care for people who put those kind of people down. If it weren’t for them, we would not have the freedom to complain about what they do.”
