Kodak Black’s attorney Bradford Choen went above and beyond for him — managing to secure a sentence commutation from President Trump before he left office.
Now he’s free, the rapper paid tribute to his loyal attorney by getting his name tattoed on his hand.

Kodak pleaded guilty to a firearms possession charge after being detained at the Canadian-American border in March 2020.
The White House cited the rapper’s “numerous philanthropic efforts… such as providing educational resources to students and families of fallen law enforcement officers and the underprivileged. In addition to these efforts, he has paid for the notebooks of school children, provided funding and supplies to daycare centers, provided food for the hungry, and annually provides for underprivileged children during Christmas.”
Sadly for Kodak, his legal woes have not disappeared. He is still facing charges stemming from an alleged sexual assault that reportedly took place in 2016. The state of North Carolina is already trying to get the rapper back behind bars.
