Since then, the streets have gone quiet save for a smattering of live shows in Milan last September and in Copenhagen the month prior. As the world retreated indoors, the ‘gram swiftly became our place of outfit inspiration. Not that we had anywhere to go but getting dressed was our attempt at clinging onto a vague sense of normalcy.

In a flood of sweatsuits and loungewear, Copenhagen-based stylist Emili Sindlev‘s playful outfit combinations are ones that’d stop you mid-mindless scroll. A chili red cardigan worn with purple slinky trousers and pink heels; an electric blue dress with a statement red bag; a teal dress with baby pink boots. An expert at colour blocking, Sindlev’s outfit mixes are unabashedly bold. It’s a play with punchy hues that just works.
