Casanova took to social media to share an update from jail.
“ALL MY LIFE’S PROBLEMS HAVE ONE SIMPLE SOLUTION… A HUG FROM MY CHILDREN!!” he wrote alongside a screenshot of him during a jail video chat. “I MISS Y’ALL, SEE Y’ALL SOON.”
Prosecutors charged 18 alleged members of the Untouchable Gorilla Stone Nation Gang in connection with various racketeering, murder, narcotics, firearms and fraud offenses.
Casanova is facing several charges, including conspiracy to commit racketeering, conspiracy to distribute controlled substances, and possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime — he is not, however, facing any charge for murder or attempted murder.
Casanova was one of the alleged gang-affiliated rappers Tekashi 6ix9ine named during his trial.

Speaking in a video message before turning himself in, Casanova declared his innocence:
“As you already know I’m fighting serious charges right now,” he began. “But um, I’m innocent — that’s one. Two, I been fighting my whole life so I’ll get through this. But just understand how they could get you jammed up. You don’t know nobody, you ain’t got nothing to do with nothing – they’ll still get you jammed up. Rappers, we are a target. Just be careful out there. Watch who you associate with, watch who people bring you around and I’ll see y’all soon, God willing.”
