Young Thug faced backlash after claiming that rapper Jay-Z does not have 30 anthems — but then he quickly backtracked within seconds.
“JAY-Z ain’t got 30 songs like that,” he told Gillie.
Gillie gave Thug a look that matched what almost every viewer was thinking — and then quickly tried to clean it up.
“I’m just saying like, I know he do, he probably got 50 of them bitches,” he said. “I” m not literally saying him. I’m saying n*ggas who you thinking … I seen n*ggas like, ‘Damn, they don’t know this song?’ I’m so scared to get boo’ed, I don’t even perform songs they won’t know.”
Thugger’s interview with the Million Dollaz Worth of Game podcast went viral after the rapper alleged that Lil Wayne was rude to him the first two times they met.
“The first day that n*gga didn’t goddamn dap me up,” he said. “Tried me. That n*gga tried my pimping… My motherf*cking feet hurt n*gga, cause I’m a real stepper. Don’t do me like that,” he said.
