While you might expect celebrities to go all out with the most extra presents for the holidays — I mean, John Legend did give Chrissy Teigen a giant cheese wheel one Christmas — some simply like to keep it practical. The “Wild” singer revealed in his Facebook series, Legendary Christmas Tales, on Friday that Chrissy actually gifts him the same presents every year: a work bag and robes.
Year round, he carries the work bag, in which he puts in everything he cares about, so he’s “reminded of Chrissy’s great taste and generosity throughout the year.” The cookbook author, who basically lives in silk robes, also makes sure her husband has a collection to rival hers. “We’re a big robe family,” John said. “We like to wear robes throughout the house, all the time . . . she gets me really good gifts that I can use all the time and feel good, and remember who gave them to me.” Though Chrissy’s picks may not be the most exciting, they’re surely useful. And knowing her taste, we imagine John probably has the chicest work bag and the comfiest robes.
