Sharon Osbourne has tested positive for COVID-19. On Monday, The Talk host revealed her diagnosis in an Instagram post, noting that she is currently recovering at home following a brief stint in the hospital. “I wanted to share I’ve tested positive for COVID-19,” she wrote. “After a brief hospitalization, I’m now recuperating at a location away from Ozzy (who has tested negative) while The Talk is on scheduled hiatus. Everyone please stay safe and healthy.”
The news comes shortly after Sharon’s The Talk cohost Carrie Ann Inaba tested positive for the virus. “I’m home with some symptoms and will be sequestering as per the CDC guidelines, resting and taking care of myself,” Carrie Ann wrote on Instagram on Dec. 10. “I have been in a very safe environment following all the guidelines and safety protocols and it still found it’s way to me. So, this is a friendly reminder to be extra careful this holiday season.”
After wrapping production last week, The Talk is currently on hiatus and will return on Jan. 4.
