In honor of the upcoming release of Barack Obama’s new memoir, A Promised Land, Michelle Obama made a touching tribute to the hard work that’s gone into the book. On Friday, Michelle posted an adorable photo of the pair on Instagram, mentioning that she couldn’t wait for the book’s Nov. 17 release and for her husband to “experience what I did after my memoir was published.”
Michelle went on to add, “It’s now been two years since Becoming came out and I couldn’t be more thankful for all the stories and conversations that people from all over the world have shared with me. That has been the most rewarding part of writing Becoming – hearing from all of you as you discovered a new beauty in your own journey.” In Becoming, Michelle recalled her journey from Chicago to the White House, whereas A Promised Land will focus on Barack’s political rise and his time in the White House.
