Singer Christina Perri Hospitalized | ExtraTV.com

“Jar of Hearts” singer Christina Perri, 34, has been hospitalized with pregnancy complications.

Perri, who is expecting her second child with husband Paul Costabile, shared on her Instagram Story Tuesday, “Hey friends. Well, nothing ever goes as we plan. Baby is having an issue, so I’m gonna be here till it’s time for baby to come out. Which might have to be very soon. Which is very early.”

Asking for prayers, Perri said, “Please send some love from your heart to the little heart beating in me that we all make it through this.”

Showing her appreciation to the hospital staff, Christina emphasized, “I’m really grateful for this community. I’ll keep you guys updated, and hopefully everything is okay.”

The following day, Perri gave an update, saying, “Right now the baby’s vitals are fine and so are mine. More will be revealed as the days go on and I have to be calm & strong.”

Christina also expressed how much she misses daughter Carmella.

In July, Christina broke that news that she was pregnant again. Along with a series of pics of Carmella, 2, she tweeted, “carmella is gonna be a big sister !!! our rainbow baby is coming in January.”

The news came months after Christina suffered a miscarriage. In January, she revealed, “We are shocked & completely heartbroken. We were only 1 week away from sharing the news so I feel like it’s also important to share this news too. I want to continue to help change the story & stigma around miscarriage, secrecy and shame.”
