The rockers of Young@Heart just dropped “Miss You,” their first album since 2012!
Fan will recall how the musicians, with an average age of 82, shot to fame with the “Young@Heart” documentary in 2007. The film gave fans an inside look at how these artists still love to tour the world and rock out to songs by The Rolling Stones, Pearl Jam, Talking Heads, and others.
Now, the group has compiled 17 recordings from the past five years for “Miss You.” For a taste, check out this video of soloist John Rinehart and special guests Chicago Children’s Choir as they sing Sam Cooke’s “A Change Is Gonna Come.” The performance took place live at the Academy of Music Theatre in Northampton, Massachusetts, on May 4, 2019.
The seniors are celebrating the album with a virtual benefit concert, along with celeb friends Larry David, Edie Falco, and more.
