Cardi B is calling Lizzo the “nicest person in the world” after the “Truth Hurts” singer sent her a special gift.
Amid Cardi’s divorce from Offset, Lizzo sent her a bouquet of yellow, orange, purple, and white flowers, along with a handwritten note.
Cardi showed her appreciation on Instagram, sharing a video of the gift. She wrote, “Omg thank you @lizzobeating,” and commented, “Isn’t Lizzo like the nicest person in the world? Look what she sent me, she is just a beautiful ass person, I just love her so much. These are so pretty.”
Lizzo’s note read, “Flowers for a flower! Congrats on all your success this summer – know you are loved and are loved… P.S. – I’m sending you something good this week. Love, Lizzo!”
The sweet gesture comes days after Cardi filed for divorce from Offset after three years of marriage. The couple shares 2-year-old daughter Kulture.
Weeks earlier, Cardi revealed she wanted Lizzo to be in her “WAP” video. She told Hot97, “But she was on vacation and she wasn’t in town. I was like, ‘Oh, my gosh,’ because I had a whole vision about how I want to see Lizzo and everything.”
