Tekashi 6ix9ine is feeling himself following his recent chart success and appeared to throw some shade Nicki Minaj’s way — claiming the rapper has never had a solo number one single.
“I love that girl to death. When has Nicki ever had a No. 1 ’til this day?” 6ix9ine asked Billboard.
The interviewer then told Tekashi that Nick has a number one single, “Say So,” with Doja Cat. But Tekashi replied, “No, no no… I love Nicki. That’s my sister. I love her to death. Give me a Nicki single that’s been No. 1. Her record.”
Tekashi recruited Nicki for his single “TROLLZ,” and the Barbz helped bring the single to number one. “That’s my record,” Tekashi said.
Nicki is one of the few rappers who have publicly stood beside Tekashi and supported him after he snitched on his crew in exchange for an early release from prison. 6ix9ine clearly has no real loyalties.
