Nicole Young, the estranged wife of producer Dr. Dre, came under fire last week after it was revealed that she had requested almost $2 million a month in temporary spousal support.
She has revealed why she needs so much money. According to Young, she needs:
$135,000 a month for clothes
$20,000 a month for phone and email
$10,000 a month for laundry
$900,000 a month for entertainment
$60,000 on education
$125,000 on charitable contributions
$100,000 on a mortgage
Young is claiming that her prenup with the star is no longer valid, as he tore it up years ago.
“Andre, at the time, was a well-known producer and rapper in the music industry, but he had not reached anywhere near the pinnacle of his music, entertainment and business career that he achieved during our marriage,” she said. “He told me that I must sign a premarital agreement or he would not marry me.
“I was extremely reluctant, resistant and afraid to sign the agreement and felt backed into a corner,” Young described, adding that Dre “acknowledged to me that he felt ashamed he had pressured me into signing a premarital agreement and he tore up multiple copies of the agreement in front of me” about two to three after they tied the knot.
