Nicole Young, the wife of Dr. Dre is seeking Nicole Young is seeking nearly $2 million per month in temporary spousal support amid her divorce with the Hip-Hop producer.
According to Young, 50, has filed documents obtained by The Blast, Young is asking for $1,936,399 in monthly temporary spousal support, as well as $5 million in legal fees.
Young says she was an integral part of Dr. Dre’s success over the years — and is taking some of the credit for his record label, Aftermath — which propelled Detroit rapper, Eminem, to stardom.
She also claims that since the split, she received a text message from him warning her that he will wage “war” with her if she disrespects him during the divorce process. She says he won’t pay her credit card bills — he maintains that he is still paying for everything.
A source told the publication that Dre does not want war. He reportedly wants a speedy divorce and to make sure that his children are protected.
