R&B singer Monica may be in trouble, for allegedly wearing a fraudulent Fendi suit and hat during her popular Versus battle.
Monica wore a head to toe outfit, purportedly created by the Italian fashion house. But MTO News has learned that people suspect that the outfit was counterfeit.
One popular IG fashionista actually reached out to Fendi, and was told (allegedly) that they did not create Monica’s outfit.

So what’s the problem? MTO News conformed that according to the United States Department of Justice, it’s not illegal to buy a counterfeit product for your personal use—even if you know it’s a fake.
But the issue is that Monica wore the allegedly fake goods on a live video show that she got paid for. And so that couple bring a host of legal issues – if Fendi chooses to go after her.
Hopefully Mo doesn’t end up in hot water over this . . .
