Terry Crews trended online again after he posted a tweet to his account, calling for a boycott of Magic City.
Crews is being accused of once again tweeting to create a distraction, as the nation is focused on the Wisconsin riots following the shooting of Jacob Blake — who was shot close range in his back seven times by a white police officer.
“Boycott Magic City #BLACKLOVEMATTERS,” the former porn addict wrote.
He then deleted the tweet and issued an apology:
After appearing on Don Lemon’s show last month, Lemon advised Crews to start a campaign of his own… and Crews has decided to spend his time focusing on the sex industry rather than on saving Black lives.
“The BLM movement was started because it was talking about police violence. If you want an All Black Lives Matter movement that talks about gun violence in communities, including Black communities, then start that movement with that name. But that’s not what BLM is about …,” Lemon said at the time.
