Liam Payne Engaged to GF Maya Henry — See Her Ring!

Singer Liam Payne, 26, and girlfriend Maya Henry, 20, are taking the next step in their relationship!

The couple is engaged after dating for two years.

Payne’s rep confirmed the news to Us Weekly after Henry was spotted wearing a huge diamond on her left ring finger on a date night in London.

While there are reports that the ring cost around £3 million, a source claims it is a family heirloom. They told The Sun, “Liam is absolutely smitten with Maya and living together in lockdown made him realize she is absolutely the one for him. He was determined to make it the perfect proposal so instead of shelling out a fortune on a ring that didn’t mean anything, he proposed using one which is cherished in her family.”

“It meant so much to Maya and she was over the moon. It’s been remodeled for her and is extremely special,” the insider added.

The source noted that the two are in “no rush” to get married and are “taking their time” with the wedding planning.

The proposal came just six months after split rumors started swirling about the two. Despite the rumors, a source told DailyMail.com, “Maya and Liam are definitely still a couple and are very happy together. Both have been taking time off social media lately and enjoying each other’s company away from the spotlight.

Before June, Liam and Maya hadn’t been seen together for months.

Liam made it Instagram official with Maya last year. Giving Maya a major shout-out while promoting his song “Stack It Up,” he wrote, “Last but not least this one @maya_henry [thanks] for always keeping the biggest smile on my face through all the stress and making me realise how perfect my life really is.”

Around the same time, Liam opened up on their budding romance during an appearance on “Capital Breakfast with Roman Kemp.” He said, “We’re fairly happy at the moment.”

Payne and Maya were first linked in August 2018, but kept their romance under the radar for a year.

Liam previously dated singer Cheryl Cole, the mother of his son Bear.
