A man described as an “right wing” vigilante on social media, was caught on tape shooting multiple protesters in Kenosha, Wisconsin with a semi-automatic rifle, MTO News has learned.
And during the melee that ensued, two people were shot to death, MTO News has confirmed.
HERE IS THE GRAPHIC VIDEO SHOWING THE GUNFIRE
Two people were killed and another wounded in Kenosha, Wisconsin on Tuesday night during clashes between protesters and militia following a wave of looting.
One victim was shot in the head (as seen on the video) and another was shot in the chest (also seen in the above video). Both of these victims appear to have died.
Footage from the scene showed another man has been shot in the arm but his injuries were not believed to be life threatening.
Cellphone video posted online showed a white man with a semi-automatic rifle running away in the moments after the gunshots rang out, saying ‘I’ve just killed somebody’ as a crowd chased after him.
Separate videos that captured the other two shootings showed the gunman falling in the street before being hit by two people (left). The gunman fired three of four shots from a seated position and struck two people.
As the crowd scattered, the shooter stood up and walked towards approaching police cars with his arms up.
Despite appearing to hand himself in, Sheriff David Beth later said the shooter had not yet been identified or arrested but said he was ‘confident we’ll have him in a very short time’ based on video footage seen by police.
