Before I was of age to dabble into makeup, I would play pretend with lip balm. Because they weren’t technically cosmetic, lip balms bypassed my stereotypical strict Asian mom. Even in my tweens, I’d always have a trusty tube of lip balm on me. And the habit has stuck with me well into adulthood. Okay, I confess – it’s a full-blown addiction.
