Last night’s Los Angeles Clippers vs Dallas Mavericks game is going viral. MTO News confirmed that one of the players on the Clippers, Montrezl Harrell, called the star of the Dallas Mavericks, who is Caucasian, a “p*ssy a** White boy”.
Now some on social media are saying that Montrezl should be fined or suspended for his comments.
The NBA has made the 2020 Playoffs all about overcoming racism, particularly against Black people in America.
But MTO News has learned that the league is now in a different position – forced into defending a White player from allegedly racist comments made against him by a Black player.
During the game, Montrezl and Luca were trash-talking each other. And one time, after scoring, Montrezl appeared to call Luca a “p*ssy a** White boy.”
MTO News reached out to the NBA for comment and asked whether they planned on taking any action against Montrezl. So far we have not received a response.
