Hundreds of people showed up yesterday to march in the Chicago streets – to free R Kelly, MTO News has learned.
Chicago is on pace to make 2020 one of the deadliest years in the city’s history. Unemployment is up, so is homelessness and hunger. There plenty of legitimate reasons to be in the streets protesting in Chicago.
But is freeing R Kelly one of them?
R Kelly is currently in prison facing charges of kidnapping and sexual exploitation of minors, as MTO News has reported. But many of his fans refuse to believe that he’s guilty.
And yesterday his supporters decided to take a stand and fight for R Kelly’s freedom. The fans came together, in a group of which numbered into the hundreds, and marched across Chicago chanting that they want their hero freed.
MTO News repacked out to the Chicago mayor’s office for comment.
