August Alsina Reveals Why He Spilled The Tea About His Affair W/ Jada Pinkett Smith

Singer August Alsina has spoken out again about why he decided to reveal his affair with Jada Pinkett Smith.

“I really am a private person,” he told People magazine. “People have never known much about my love life because it’s not important.

“I never really cared about what people thought of me, but my personal life started to seep into my business life,” he shared. “There were certain falsities about me, and it affected my business relationships.”

Jada addressed the affair on her Facebook Watch show, The Red Table Talk.

“I started a friendship with August and we actually became really, really good friends,” she said, copping to getting into an “entanglement” with Alsina.

“It was a relationship, absolutely. I was in a lot of pain,” she said. “I was very broken. In the process of that relationship, I definitely realized you can’t find happiness outside of yourself.”

Jada has not spoken about the issue in public since.
